25 YearsOfficial rules and regulations for the 6th National Martial Arts Championship. All participants must read and understand these rules.
All participants must be present during the technical meeting before their respective matches
Competitors must make weight during the weigh-in session (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
Late arrivals will result in disqualification from the competition
Each competitor must present valid identification and medical clearance
All participants must wear appropriate martial arts attire (gi/uniform)
Personal protective equipment must meet international safety standards
No jewelry, watches, or metal objects allowed during competition
Point-based scoring system following international martial arts standards
Clean techniques to target areas: Head (3 points), Body (2 points), Legs (1 point)
Effective takedowns and throws: 2 points
Controlled grappling techniques: 1-2 points depending on dominance
Match duration: Under-12 (2 mins), Under-15 (2.5 mins), Under-18/Senior (3 mins)
In case of a tie, sudden death overtime round (1 minute)
Three qualified judges will score each match independently
Mandatory protective gear: headgear, mouthguard, chest protector, shin guards
Groin protection required for all male participants
Medical timeout can be called by referee or competitor
Injured competitors must receive medical clearance before continuing
Weigh-in must be completed in competition attire without shoes
Competitors missing weight will be disqualified or moved to next weight class if available
Weight cutting methods that pose health risks are strictly prohibited
Age verification required with official documentation
Mixed gender divisions only in Under-12 category
Minimum 4 participants required per weight class for competition
Round-robin format used if fewer than 6 participants in a category
No direct strikes to the head with full contact
No ground fighting or submission holds
No throws or takedowns above shoulder height
No elbow or knee strikes
No grabbing or holding for more than 3 seconds
No strikes to the back of the head or spine
No eye gouging or fish hooking
No small joint manipulation
No strikes to the groin (even with protection)
No slamming opponents to the ground
Quality and precision of techniques executed
Impact and success of techniques landed
Forward pressure and attacking mentality
Defensive skills and counter-attacking ability

| Equipment tampering | Immediate disqualification |
| Verbal abuse or aggression | Immediate disqualification |
Extreme weight cutting can be dangerous and may result in disqualification. Participant safety is our top priority.
No extreme dehydration methods (saunas, sweat suits for extended periods)
No use of diuretics or other performance-enhancing substances
Minimum 2% body weight loss in 24 hours before competition
Medical staff reserves the right to prohibit competition if health risks are evident
Proper hydration required post weigh-in before competition begins
Nutritional counseling available on-site for healthy weight management
Medical clearance certificate (within 30 days)
Blood pressure and heart rate check
No history of serious head injuries
Current vaccination status
Certified medical staff present
Ambulance on standby
First aid stations at each arena
Immediate medical evaluation for injuries
